Local game data
Orbit Shift does not require an Orbit Shift account. Core progress, preferences, scores, and purchase-entitlement state are stored on the device. Local game data remains there until the app or its data is removed.
This policy explains how the Orbit Shift puzzle game handles game data, advertising choices, purchases, and optional Apple services.
Orbit Shift does not require an Orbit Shift account. Core progress, preferences, scores, and purchase-entitlement state are stored on the device. Local game data remains there until the app or its data is removed.
Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Orbit Shift does not receive or store full payment-card details.
Sharing a result opens the iOS system share sheet only after the player asks to share. Orbit Shift does not automatically publish game results.
Orbit Shift uses Google Mobile Ads to show a banner during active gameplay, occasional interstitial ads between completed runs, and optional rewarded ads requested by the player. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as IP address-derived general location, device or app identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, product interaction data, crash logs, and performance diagnostics to deliver, measure, secure, and improve advertising.
Google and its partners may use technologies such as local storage, cookies where applicable, software identifiers, pixels, web beacons, IP addresses, and similar technologies as part of ad delivery and measurement. Learn how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and review Google's Privacy Policy.
On the first active iOS launch, Orbit Shift saves less-personalized advertising as the privacy-safe default and asks for Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. Declining, being restricted, leaving the app without answering, or running without the native permission bridge keeps that default and never blocks play. Choosing Allow permits the player to select personalized ads; the choice can later be returned to less-personalized in Ads & Privacy. Where required for live advertising, Orbit Shift then uses Google's User Messaging Platform to present regional advertising choices before initializing Google Mobile Ads. When Google requires a persistent privacy-options entry, Ads & Privacy displays Privacy Options so the player can reopen Google's managed choices.
Players can select Report an Ad in Ads & Privacy to open a pre-addressed message to connorhohlen@gmail.com. The report asks for a description of the advertisement, where it appeared, and the approximate date and time. Players should not include sensitive information.
Any third party that receives user data through Orbit Shift must provide the same or equivalent protection described in this policy and required by applicable platform rules and law.
Players may buy or restore the non-consumable Remove Ads purchase through Apple. It removes the gameplay banner and automatic interstitials. Optional rewarded ads remain available only when the player chooses to request one.
If the player chooses Game Center features, Apple processes scores, achievements, and the player's Game Center identity under Apple's Privacy Policy.
Advertising and Apple-service data are retained under the applicable provider's policies and controls. Players can use iOS Settings to review Apple's tracking permission and use Privacy Options when Google reports that its managed choices are required.
The current version does not implement an age gate or child-directed advertising mode. Orbit Shift should not be marketed or configured as child-directed without updating the app, advertising settings, and this policy.
